Are you too sexy for your shirt, livin' la vida loca or even living on a prayer?

If so, you'd better limber up your vocal chords and dust off your wig, because the Lions Club of Seaward Kaikoura is organising another lip sync concert next month and entries are already flooding in.

Following last year's hugely successful inaugural event in which Kaikoura's wannabe stars took to the stage to entertain the masses, the club has decided to keep the evening on their fundraising calendar.

This year's beneficiaries with be Kaikoura's youth groups, and applicants are invited from those groups.

Show co-ordinator Bev Bradbury said groups such as the youth council or Girl Guides were welcome to pick up a form and apply for funding - forms can be collected at the Kaikoura Star office.

From the $20 ticket price, $5 will also be donated to the Kaikoura Hospital's CR reader fund.

Entrants must be 16 years old and over, expressions of interest to Bev Bradbury on 3197141 or Anne Duncan on 3193314, but be in quick - spaces will be limited.

The lip sync concert will be held at the Memorial Hall on Saturday, August 11.
