Hi Kaikoura,

It has been a busy few weeks. There have been a few vehicle crashes to deal with. Last Friday I attended a crash on Puhi Puhi Rd in which two British tourists had lost control on the shingle road, hit the bank and overturned their vehicle. Luckily no one was injured.

Recently there have been a several instances reported to us of young people throwing stones and eggs at properties in South Bay. Windows have been broken and this behaviour needs to stop before someone gets hurt. If you have any information please let us know or if you witness anything call 111 so we can deal with the issue then and there.

There have been a few rock slips on the road so please be vigilant when driving on the coast as you never know what is going to be around the corner. That's all for this week.
