The Scarborough St dirt bike track will open this Saturday for a pump and jump jam extravaganza the whole community should get behind.

Aimed at anyone with two wheels, from children to pensioners, the track at the old tar depot offers heaps of fun for all abilities. There will be a competitions to enter, and if you are not sure about tackling the jumps in front of everyone, go along and soak up the atmosphere and check out the rising talent, and hard work of the local bikers who have turned the unused area into a testament to their dedication.

There will be a BBQ, tunes and more, so come along and support the initiative, and put your hand in your pocket if you are impressed to help with the development of the track over the winter.

Local bikers are committed to the track's success and major improvements have been carried out since its inception, but there are more planned.

This Saturday's event will start at 4pm. Categories include under-12, under-16, gold coin entry fee; seniors and adults (over 30), $5. Spectators welcome.
