We all know boys generally don't need an excuse to get muddy, so this weekend's Mud Challenge will be right up their street.
But look out - they will be enlisting parents, grandparents, friends and relatives to share in the mud wallowing, so you'd better get used to the idea before the big event.
The good thing is it's a fundraiser for Suburban School, so there can be no excuse not to take part.
The event promises to be heaps of muddy fun, with an awesome obstacle course lined up to ensure all participants are covered in mud by the end of the event.
The Mud Challenge will be held this Sunday March 9 at 172d Mill Rd.
■ Teams of four can have four adults ($15 per person), four teenagers ($10 per person) or two children with two adults ($10 per person).
Children under 5 will need parental assistance, and fancy dress is optional.
Registration at 11am on the day, with the actual racing kicking off at 1pm.
