There have been a few things happening this past week.
On Friday afternoon a 64-year-old female tramper was rescued from the cliff face near Whalers Bay after dislocating her knee.
Thanks to the Fire and Ambulance service along with Coastguard who completed the rescue.
She was flown by Westpac rescue helicopter to Christchurch for surgery.
We processed two people for drink driving over the weekend and one of these individuals is also facing additional charges for careless use after crashing into the Hapuku Bridge buttment in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is probably a timely reminder for people who choose to drink and drive that you will be caught so if you are going to have a few drinks please arrange for transport home or a sober driver.
Police made several arrests over the last week for trespassing and assault which resulted in a local 24-year-old male appearing in the Blenheim District Court and a 15-year-old youth being referred to Youth Services.
That's about all for this week. Stay safe and take care.
