Blackwater impressive in touch victory

Blackwater produced an impressive performance in last week's round of the More FM Lansdowne Park touch competition.
Up against Base Woodbourne, Blackwater cut loose with some brilliant play to win 9-0, Cloe Vining getting the ball rolling with a try in the corner in the second minute.
Daniel Hawkins followed that up with a touchdown and Natasha Ford made it 3-0 at half-time.
Blackwater continued with their slick passing game, Gannon Karena, Hawkins and Jack Saxton crossing for two tries each to complete the rout.
It's Jiggy had a much tougher job beating off Young Money 8-6 in a see-saw battle in which the lead changed hands several times.
It's Jiggy finally shut the game out near the finish, a hat trick of tries to Ollie Crawford showing the way. Lynn and Johnny Tahuri scored two tries each and Brigham Hart one.
Jason White and Hannah Saul touched down twice for Young Money, Nick Seabrook and Reyne Volavola the other try-scorers.
Mike McConnell Motors defeated Queen Charlotte College 8-3.
Tyrone Elkington and Serena Hounslow were the standouts for Mike McConnell Motors, Jerome Leonard QCC's player of the day.
