Teamwork wins school volleyball

Grovetown and Fairhall Flyers were the standout teams in round three of the Marlborough junior volleyball competition at Marlborough Lines Stadium on Friday.
Both year 5 and 6 teams showed good teamwork to record their third straight wins, with Grovetown beating Renwick Green and Fairhall overcoming Springlands Setters.
After close games in the year 7 and 8 sections, BIS Jumping Jelliebeans won 2-1 over Renwick Yellow, while Bohally G-Units showed great skill in their convincing win over Bohally Spazmics.
Players from the premier grade continued to show their class, with both games featuring tough battles and beautiful rallies resulting in wins for Renwick Blue and Bohally Blues.
In Thursday's college grade, both Marlborough junior representative teams had close games and brought out the best in their opposition.
Jellybeans lead the competition with an impressive three wins from three outings after beating Nerds last week.
