Wing James Kamana and lock Anthony Elisala are the latest players to sign for the Tasman Makos rugby team for this coming season's ITM Cup campaign.
Kamana, a former Waikato wing, played well in a couple of matches, without cementing a regular starting spot. Elisala played for Auckland in 2008, and after moving to Tasman last season, his season was curtailed by a knee injury suffered in a pre-season match.
Makos head coach Kieran Keane is delighted to have two more key players on board. "We've gone back to the people we know will do a job and are very keen to return to the fold," he said. "Both are fine athletes and good team men."
The pair add to a growing list of confirmed signings which include former All Blacks Chris Jack and Ben Franks, plus Glen Gregory, Jonathan Poff, Hamish Cochrane, Joe Wheeler, Quentin MacDonald, Kade Poki, Steve Alfield, Afeleki Pelenise, Robbie Malneek, James Marshall, Tom Marshall and Blair Cook.
