Strong northwesterly winds changing to southerly gales and rain didn't prevent the Marlborough clay-target shoot last weekend, and there were several good performances among the 21 competitors.
Nelson's Wes Oldham had the highest overall aggregate with Marlborough's Keith van Asch, Hugh Owen and Wayne Gatchel winning the A, B and C grades respectively.
