Marlborough's cricketing youngsters are set to be the major benefactors when the Mick Jellyman Charitable Trust holds a dinner and auction at the Redwood Tavern on November 26.

The trust is charged with rasing funds to help the province's junior cricketers.

Organiser Martyn Wilson said there were some good items for auction, including English cricketer Alistair Cook's signed English shirt, a Makos jersey which has been signed by the whole team and a Makos jersey signed by the four All Blacks, who visited Blenheim recently.

The curry night and auction will begin at 6.30pm.

Tickets are available from Wilson, 0274331759, Greg Stretch 0278571 845 and Graeme Hawtin 03-5786626.
