Former Marlborough Girls' College student Emma Moore is in the New Zealand under-21 women's touch team to play Australia in Auckland next February.
A university student in Dunedin, Moore, 19, played for the Otago women's team at this year's national champs and was part of the NZ under-17 girls team which went to Australia to play in the Australian under-18 Nationals in 2010.
Moore was also eligible for the NZ under-18 girls team but impressed enough at the trials to make the older age-group side.
NZ under-21 women will compete alongside three NZ open teams (Touch Blacks) and five masters teams as part of the Super Trans-Tasman Touch Series.
