Falcons learn their fate
The NZ King Salmon Nelson Marlborough Falcons' 2014 draw has been confirmed with the first home ASB Youth League football competition game against Heartland Wairarapa, being hosted by Marlborough Football at Lansdowne Park, Blenheim.
Falcons' committee member Nigel Thompson says having the pre-season tournament this month in Blenheim and then having the first home game in the town is helping to bring the full squad together, from both sides of the hill.
"The Marlborough football community is completely behind the team, and we are planning for a great day out at Lansdowne on January 19," he said.
The beginning of February will be a busy period for the team, who will play two games at home in one week. First up is Canterbury United on Waitangi Day, (February 6), and then Southern United the following Sunday.
