New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic is through to the doubles final of a $US75,000 ($NZ106,810) ITF Pro Circuit event in Toyota, Japan.

Erakovic and her partner Tamarine Tanasugarn, of Thailand, beat tournament second seeds Yayuk Basuki, of Indonesia, and Kimiko Date-Krumm, of Japan, 6-3 6-3 in the semifinals.

They meet the Japanese pairing of Akari Inoue and Akiko Yonemura in the final tomorrow.

Earlier, Erakovic, who was ousted in the singles first round by second-seeded Date-Krumm, and Tanasugarn defeated Junri Namigata and Remi Tezuka from Japan 6-3 6-2 in the quarters and Japanese wildcards Maiko Inoue and Yurina Koshino 6-3 6-1 in the first round.
