Hey, want a cappuccino with that bambino?

Fiat has become the first car maker in the world to offer a caffeine-infused stretch limousine, complete with its own espresso machine.

The five-door version of the 500, known as the 500L and launched internationally last week, has the option of a compact Lavazza A Modo Mio system that turns pre-packaged pods and water into a steaming cup of coffee.

The €250 (NZ$383) machine is mounted in between the rear seats in a specially made cupholder that powers the coffee maker up as soon as it is inserted.

Buyers also get a cup, storage for the coffee pods, sugar dispenser and spoon holder to make the experience complete.

One bit that's missing, though, is the A Modo Mio milk frother sold with the kitchen benchtop version of the espresso machine.

The Mini Countryman-sized Fiat also appears to be lacking a sunroof for that true al fresco experience.
