A hotted up 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 peels off a quarter-mile run in under 10 seconds.
The "Lethal Performance" tuned vehicle's run reached 239.4 kilometres per hour or in US terms, 148.8 miles per hour.
Full details of the modifications to the vehicle will not be available until publication of the latest 5.0 Mustang & Super Ford Magazine.
However, the "special thanks" section of the clip shows the vehicle's assist list, including Power By The Hour, UPR Products, Lund Racing, Wilson/Nitrous Pro Flow and Jeremy Martorella.
Website Torquenews.com reports that UPR Products is a company that makes high performance suspension components for the GT500. Lund Racing is a top tuning company for the GT500 while Power By The Hour is a dyno specialist shop and Wilson/Nitrous Pro Flow probably provided a nitrous injection setup.
Whatever they have done and even running slicks, it makes for an awesome sound, so turn up the clip's volume and listen to the awesome sound.
