A company called Clarksun Enterprises is to establish franchises for the Yangzhou Dawn electric vehicle, and New Zealand will be the first country to offer the Chinese company's right-hand-drive model.
Clarksun aims to set up 14 to 20 dealer franchises under the ecars banner, selling solely Dawn electric vehicles.
Future plans include buses, vans, trucks, scooters and charge stations.
