French company Vintech revealed a car at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance that Porsche should make but won't.
It's the P550 Tribute designed as a homage to the iconic 550 of the 1950s.
The P550 Tribute is powered by a 3.0-litre air-cooled flat-four engine that is mounted directly behind the passenger cabin with two double-barrel downdraft carburettors, it sends 190kW to the rear wheels via a manual transmission.
Performance figures were not available, but Vintech says it will weigh no more than 1200kg, giving it an impressive power-to-weight ratio.
