As car crashes go, this was a classic - classic car v classic car in a classic illustration of just how quickly road accidents occur.
Although the date on the video clip says November 20, the uploader has stated that the date and time were set wrong on the camera and the accident occurred on November 10 during the Bright Rod Run in South Australia.
In the video clip, a group of classic car enthusiasts had headed out on a drive to take photos of their cars when a Ford Falcon locks up under braking in a line of traffic slowed by a turning car. The Falcon slews across the centre line into the path of a 1960s Holden EK. The collision knocked the Holden off the road but the driver still managed to maintain some control.
"No one was badly injured but just a lot of bruises and bumps. I just hope with the video it goes to show how quick stuff like that can happen,'' the uploader says.
