A car model that was once a common sight on New Zealand roads has a spot in the latest instalment of the Fast and Furious movie series.
A 1970s Mk1 Ford Escort gets a prime spot alongside many other more well known or higher-priced vehicles including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, BMWs, Renaults, a Porsche and a Mercedes-Benz.
However, there also seems to be a "classic car" thread in the movie with the Ford Escort from the 1970s being joined by a Jensen Interceptor and a winged Dodge Charger Daytona.
In keeping with the movie franchise's all action genre, there are tanks crushing cars and cars crashing planes and then bursting out the nose cone.
