Petrolheads have flocked in their thousands to Whangamata for a vintage car festival.
Described as "New Zealand's number one nostalgia festival', the Beach Hop celebrates vehicles from the 1950s and 60s.
Roads around the Coromandel beach town were closed off to make way for the parade of cars made before 1972.
All cars registered were put into a draw to win either a Ford 1957 Fairlane, or the Ford 1930 Model A Coupe.
One tweeter said he was in "hot rod heaven" at the event, and another said she was "insanely jealous" of anyone who got to go.
Sony Xplod and Ford NZ sponsored the event.
