Video reveals contender for Wellington's worst piece of driving video

NZ Police

Wellington police have released dash camera footage showing a dangerous passing manoeuvre carried out by a driver in the suburb of Tawa.

Video footage has emerged of what could just be Wellington's worst driver.

The video was taken from the dashcam of a car as it drove through the northern Wellington suburb of Tawa at 3.21pm on Monday.

As the car goes beneath a double lane bridge in Collins Ave, Linden, and with another car coming towards it around a bend, a blue people mover shoots up on the right-hand side.

Police will "follow up" with a dodgy driver in Tawa.
