Gymkhana is morphing into Climbkhana for US speed demon Ken Block.

The rally driving and drifting star has revealed that the second coming of his Hoonicorn Mustang will tackle the mighty Pikes Peak course in the first of a series of hill climbs.

Block recently unveiled the reworked 4WD Hoonicorn 1965 Mustang which now boasts an amazing 1400 horsepower V8 with twin turbos fed on methanol.

A teaser for Climbkhana has been posted by Toyo Tyres which will no doubt have many a shredded product by the end of the series.

"Climbkana is the next generation of the Gymkhana series," Block told the Top Gear website.

"I've long wanted to extend Gymkhana beyond the backdrops it has been living in.

The Hoonicorn's Pikes Peak run is expected to be released within the next few months.

"Climbkhana gives me an outlet to let it all hang out and run it sideways, plus add some additional obstacles along the way."
