What if money was in short supply for the transportation of our on-screen heroes?

Milan-based graphic designer and illustrator Gerald Bear has tried to answer the unlikely question with a series of humorous sketches entitled Unconventional Heroes.

Bear gets into both heroes of the small and big screen that includes transforming Kitt from Knight Rider into a a VW Beetle instead of a Pontiac Trans Am, Starsky and Hutch's Ford Gran Torino becomes a Fiat Panda and Niki Lauda's Ferrari F1 racer from the movie, Rush, becomes a sleigh.

Others to fall victim to Bear's sketching include Speed Racer, Optimus Prime. Doc Brown's De Lorean from Back to the Future, the Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard, the Batmobile and the Tron motorcycle.
