In one of the best proposals ever, a guy asks his girlfriend to be his "co-driver for life" in the middle of an autocross course after pulling a big handbrake turn.
Jake Wile's proposal to Maggie O'Brien was captured on the in-car video camera at the autocross course in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday.
She told him not to show off before he said he had to ask her something.
"I gotta ask you something."
"You're the most amazing woman I've ever met in my life. Every minute has been a joy. I want you to be on my team for life, and I want you to be my co-driver for life. Would you take your helmet off? Maggie O'Brien, would you marry me?"
"Shit, yeah. Yeah. Aww, I'm stuck. (un-does her belts) Yes."
The newly-engaged couple drove back to the pits, and shared a non-alcoholic apple cider to celebrate.
The couple's first date was supposed to involve O'Brien watching an autocross, but Wile signed her up without her knowing, and she never looked back.
Wile and O'Brien have been driving and working on a car together for the last two years.
Wile posted the video of the proposal to YouTube, with the caption "A couple that races together stays together!"
