It sounds highly unlikely, but some guys in the Isle of Man have built a mobility scooter that will out drag a Nissan Skyline.

To set the record straight, it's not a GT-R, but still the Skyline GTS-T is made to look a little pedestrian by the tiny scooter.

The problem for the Nissan is that the scooter has been has been repowered with a Suzuki GSX-600F engine by the team at the appropriately-named Garage Insanity.

Mobility is certainly not a problem for the wee rocket which has topped 164 kilometres per hour over a quarter mile drag.

Apparently the scooter's top speed is around 200kmh!
