Dashcam video has captured a car and its occupants' dramatic narrow escape from being crushed by a huge boulder following a landslide in Taiwan.

The video, shot from a following vehicle, shows a white car swerving to the left as debris rains down from the hillside by the coastal road in Keelung city.

As the dust settles, a boulder several times the car’s size is seen rolling towards the stationary car and teetering beside it for a moment before coming to a stop.

Reports say nobody in the car was injured.

The landslide was caused by heavy rain.
