Grave fears for missing woman
Police have "grave fears" for the safety of a woman from Hong Kong who has not been seen for a week.
Kwei Ying Wong was known to be visiting Queenstown but had not been seen or heard from since last Saturday, police said.
She also used the name Joyce and was described as looking younger than her 63 years. Wong is 160cm tall and weighs about 56kg, has dark, shoulder-length hair and wears black or purple prescription glasses. Her spoken English is poor.
Any information of Wong’s whereabouts, or any sightings of her, should be reported to the nearest police station, or to senior constable Wayne Park of the Queenstown police at 03 441 1600.
