A $300 million pay deal negotiated for primary school workers has been ratified.
It covers collective agreements for support staff, primary school principals and teachers, and area school teachers and principals.
The agreements were negotiated by the Educational Institute in December and went out for ratification last month.
National president Frances Nelson said they affected most of the union's 46,000 members and delivered a 4 per cent annual pay increase for up to three years.
It was the biggest pay increase in eight years for support staff, education's "invisible workforce", Ms Nelson said.
