Divers to search Picton harbour for missing man

Police divers have been called to help search Picton Harbour for a missing 56-year-old local man.
Christopher John Derek Purdy, who lived on his yacht in the harbour, was last seen at Oxley's Tavern, then the Irish Bar, on October 28.
Police said a dinghy was retrieved by Coastguard in the early hours of October 29 which was believed to belong to Mr Purdy.
Police and Coastguard had searched the Picton foreshore without success and police divers from Wellington would assist with further searches this afternoon.
