Cyclist death not suspicious, police say

Police have identified a body found on rocks in Tauranga Harbour today.
The body was that of a 48-year-old man from Matapihi, 9km east of central Tauranga, Detective Sergeant Pete Blackwell said.
His name has not yet been released.
The man was found lying on the rocks next to a bicycle near Matapihi Rd about 6am.
He had been dead for several hours.
Mr Blackwell said there were no suspicious circumstances and the death had been referred to the coroner.
