Baby flown to hospital after allergic reaction

A six-month-old baby suffering an allergic reaction had to be flown to Wellington hospital earlier today.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a Wainuiomata address at around 10.20 this morning after the baby had suffered a reaction to his milk powder.
The rescue crew with a Wellington Free Ambulance paramedic on board was able to land in an area cleared by the Fire Service.
The baby and his mother were to taken to hospital by the rescue helicopter.
