Police say a semi-naked teenage girl seen walking through South Auckland streets may have been under the influence of alcohol.
A street in Papakura was closed off early this morning after the girl was seen walking up and down the streets wearing a t-shirt and nothing else.
She ended up at a park around Wood St, close to the police station.
Counties-Manukau police spokeswoman Ana-Mari Gates-Bowey said the girl was a teenager and that alcohol may have been a factor in her behaviour.
She was eventually taken to Middlemore Hospital, where police were continuing to question her.
