Tourists who died in crash named

Two tourists who died when their campervan and a truck collided in Northland yesterday have been named after police asked for help from Spanish police to tell relatives.

The victims were Eva Fajula Rovira, 34, and her male companion Joan Roma Serra, also 34.

They died at the scene of the crash near Towai, south of Kawakawa, yesterday.

Sergeant Peter Masters of Paihia police said the cause of the accident was still being investigated.
