All eyes on Lotto prize

The Christchurch winner of Lotto's $9.3 million Powerball draw thought she had won $9333 after checking her payout receipt without her glasses.
The woman, who bought the ticket from the Fendalton New World for her family, claimed the prize from New Zealand Lotteries yesterday.
When the woman, who did not want to be named, checked her ticket at the Riccarton Pak 'n Save, poor vision led to her mistaking the size of the prize.
"I wasn't wearing my glasses, so when the Lotto operator showed me the pay receipt I thought it said $9333," she told New Zealand Lotteries.
When she was told that she had won $9.3m, she "started hyperventilating a bit – I was so shocked".
She said the family did not have any big plans for the money, but would pay off the mortgage and donate some money to charity.
The prize is the largest won in Christchurch, beating a $7.5m prize sold in 2007.
