Night rescue mission after boy falls out of bed

A two-year-old boy's fall out of bed resulted in a helicopter call-out at last night.
The boy from Turangi suffered head injuries when he fell from his bunk in his sleep.
The boy, accompanied by his mother, was flown for further assessment to Waikato Hospital by Taupo's Youthtown Rescue Helicopter with the aid of night vision goggles.
He was said to be in a stable condition this morning.
