Police chase on Akatarawa Rd

BREAKING NEWS: A man has been arrested after a short police chase along Akatarawa Rd between Upper Hutt and the Kapiti Coast.
A witness said she heard sirens from multiple police cars driving fast up the road.
The drama started about 3.40pm she said.
The cars were heading north-west towards the Kapiti Coast.
A police spokesman said a man had been pulled over and arrested after failing to stop.
