Five people have been taken to hospital after a bus and a minibus collided on Wellington's Evans Bay Pde.
One lane was closed after the nose-to-tail accident, which happened around 11.35am.
Two people had moderate injuries and three had minor injuries.
The bus had been following the minibus when the two vehicles collided, a police spokeman said.
Police said sand was being laid on the road to cover oil leaks. The lane had been expected to re-open not long after 1.30pm.
