Fire threatens Porirua house

A car blaze near Porirua has sparked a scrub fire that is threatening a home.
The car caught on fire at the corner of Grays Rd and Paekakariki Hill Rd around 4.30pm.
Some scrub then caught on fire.
The blaze has moved up the hill towards a nearby house.
Fire crews were at the scene, and traffic was being diverted, a police spokesman said.
