Double wham for tram

The Christchurch tram's horror week continued today when the tourist attraction was involved in a second low-speed crash.
The latest accident happened metres from where a door closed on another tram in controversial circumstances yesterday.
Today's incident occurred around 1.15pm.
A woman turning in to a carpark on Worcester Street appeared to have not seen a tram coming out of the Cathedral Junction. The tram collided with her car on the front right hand bumper, causing minor panel damage.
The woman was shaken by the incident but unhurt. She did not want to comment because she was very embarrassed by the accident, but she acknowledged responsibility.
The tram driver referred The Press to his boss for comment, but that man walked away when approached.
