Three more deaths a shock for Feilding

A sister of murdered Feilding farmer Scott Guy has called on the community to gather on Friday in a bid to show they are a caring and sharing town.
Nikki Guy, 31, is sister of farmer Scott Guy who was murdered.
Yesterday the bodies of three people were found in Feilding, coming on top of Mr Guy's murder, the death of a flying instructor and her student and the death of Lieutenant Tim O'Donnell in Afghanistan.
Ms Guy, a candidate in the upcoming local body elections, said the community would gather at 5pm at the clock tower.
"It's more about caring for each other and looking after the community," she told Radio New Zealand.
"If our lives stopped because of what happened to Scott, the person who killed him has won, but if we carry on we win and Scott wins."
She said after police discovered bodies yesterday the community was in shock.
"The police had actually rung my parents and let us know, they let us know before it was public," she said.
"That was good and we already knew and braced ourselves for the public."
She said the Guy family felt safe and was not scared.
"We are sad that something else has happened and we feel so much for the families who have been affected by this. We know exactly what they are going through."
Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with yesterday's deaths, which would be referred to the coroner.
Neighbour June Bryant said the couple bought the house in January and had lived there for only a few months. "It gives me the willies, especially after what happened to Scott Guy."
Local Federated Farmers president Gordon McKellar, who lives near the scene, said there was huge concern in the community after the latest deaths.
Manawatu District Mayor Ian McKelvie said the early evening ceremony would allow residents to show support for each other, thank emergency services and put the tragedies behind them.
Mr McKellar knew Bryan Guy, the father of Scott, and had twice met Ms Neeson.
He was disquieted by yet another close-to-home tragedy. "It was a shocker for me to hear [it was] Lees Rd."
The only sign that something was amiss at the house - a single-storey building set 400 metres back from the road - was a police car parked on the road outside.
Police said the names of the three victims would not be made public until family members had been notified.
Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Sheridan said there was no evidence of any connection between the three deaths and the murder of Mr Guy.
