Cream with your road?

A leaking milk tanker left a 500m-long strip of cream along State Highway 1 in Northland this morning, leading police to warn motorists to take care on an extremely slippery road.
The tanker leaked the cream onto the road south of the Brynderwyn summit, south of Whangarei about 1.30am, a police northern communications spokesman said.
A short detour was put in place for northbound traffic and the cream was cleaned up and the road open shortly after, he said.
