Investigations are continuing after a motorcyclist died in a collision with a car in Auckland yesterday.
The crash happened in the suburb of Beachlands just before 12.40pm.
Senior Sergeant Matt Rogers, from the police northern communications centre, said the motorcyclist's name has not yet been released.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people in the car suffered minor injuries.
The motorcyclist was the only person to die on the country's roads over the weekend.
