Drowned Northland toddler named

A Northland toddler who drowned in a cattle trough at the weekend has been named.
Fifteen-month-old Akerau Sabia MacKay-Andrews was believed to be trying to retrieve a ball from the trough at a property near Kaikohe on Saturday when he fell in.
His body was found by his nine-year-old sister.
Police said the death had been referred to the coroner.
