Man allegedly drink-driving while towing horse float in Queenstown
A 48-year-old Darfield man towing a horse float at 3am in Queenstown on Saturday has been charged with drink-driving.
Sergeant Keith Newell, of Queenstown, said a member of the public contacted police with concerns about the man's driving.
Police pulled him over near the Kelvin Heights turnoff where he recorded a breath alcohol level of 807mcg.
He will appear in the Queenstown District Court on April 13 to face the charge.
