Three children have been taken to hospital - one with serious injuries - after a four wheel drive rolled south of Paengaroa in the Bay of Plenty tonight.
A Fire Service spokesman said emergency services were called to the scene on State Highway 33 about 10pm.
Three children and one adult were injured after a vehicle rolled, the spokesman said. No-one was trapped. Firefighters gave first aid until paramedics arrived, he said.
An ambulance communications spokeswoman said a child suffered serious injuries in the crash. Three others suffered moderate injuries.
The patients were transported to Tauranga Hospital.
