FATAL CRASH: A man in his 60s has died after a car crash in Bexley Rd today.

LATEST: A man in his 60s has died after his car plunged into a ditch in Christchurch today.
Police, firefighters and ambulance staff were called to the scene in Bexley Rd just after 12.30pm.
A police spokesman said the man's car left the road and landed in a ditch.
A St John spokesman said the driver died at the scene.
Bystanders attempted CPR, but the man was unable to be resuscitated.
Police said the man's death may have been the result of a medical event, but the cause would be determined after an autopsy.
The police serious-crash unit is investigating.
No other vehicles were involved.
