Police have found a nine-year-old boy who went missing in Mount Maunganui last night.
The boy was last seen on Ocean Beach Rd at about 5pm yesterday.
"He was reported missing last evening and an extensive search was undertaken," said Detective Sergeant Darryl Brazier.
Police resumed the search again this morning, and the boy was found safe and well.
