A motorcyclist is dead after a crash involving a car north of Huntly this morning.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene on State Highway 1, near Rangiriri, at 7.50am.
Police investigating the crash said the south-bound lane would be closed for some time, but north-bound traffic was unaffected. Diversions were in place.
