Police are investigating the death of a man who was found under Totara Park Bridge in Upper Hutt.

Detective Sergeant Christiaan Barnard, of Hutt Valley CIB, said the body had been identified as a 47-year-old man.
Police were notifying his next of kin.
The man's cause of death was being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination would be done tomorrow.
Police were told about the body by a member of the public about 1.15pm today.
Anyone with information about the man was asked to phone Hutt Valley CIB on (04) 560 2600 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
