Three men from New Zealand have been killed in a car rollover north of Ravensthorpe, in Western Australia.

The three men are believed to be childhood friends from Southland, according to the Otago Daily Times.

The men reportedly moved to Perth together several years ago and were flatmates.

On Sunday, police said the victims were two 24-year-old men and a 25-year-old man.

Police say the crash happened on the Lake King-Norseman Road near the intersection of Stennets Lake Road, in the remote Wheatbelt region.

St John Ambulance officers could not help the three victims, and confirmed the deaths of the men.

No other vehicle was involved.

The crash was reported around 7.30am on Saturday.
